Honors College Junior Dmitriy Prokopovich was recently published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry alongside Azka Ahmed, a former Honors College student, and Dr. Luca Larini of the Department of Physics and Center for Computation and Integrative Biology at Rutgers Camden.  Their article, “Impact of Phosphorylation and Pseudophosphorylation on the Early Stages of Aggregation of the Microtubule-Associated Protein Tau”, includes research completed as a result of the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment grant, which is supported by National Science Foundation. The conclusions of their study may have interesting implications for the field of Alzheimer’s research.

The Honors College is proud to support student research at Rutgers University! Read the article below to learn more.
