The Rutgers-Camden EOF and TRiO programs proudly co-sponsor a male empowerment event entitled, “Represent the Real: Hip Hop, Blackness and the Crisis of Now” in honor of Black History Month. 

Ewuare X. Osayande, political activist, poet, and educator is returning to Rutgers-Camden on February 18th!  He will speak to the social, historical, and musical influences of hip hop and the Black experience as well as the crisis of our present time. 

After the talk there will be an opportunity to purchase the following books: Whose America? And, the global anthology, Stand our Ground: Poems for Travon Martin and Marissa Alexander.
