Race talk can be uncomfortable but it is absolutely essential in this climate! We don’t have to whisper about race or racism, and not all talks about race and culture are scary. This is where the RUC community can come together to define, learn, and problem solve the social problems of our time. Courageous Conversation has existed for 3 years as a safe and inclusive space to critically dialogue about race and interfused issues surrounding race. This is a place where, in good faith, we as a community can grapple with tough topics and not feel ashamed, A place where we come away enlightened & A place where even the facilitators learn and grow!
