Come see the production of 12 Angry Jurors!
A young man of ethnic descent is on trial for murder. If found guilty by a panel of twelve jurors, the verdict will result in a mandatory death sentence. Initially, all but one juror thinks the young man’s guilt is obvious. Personal differences divide the group and continue to escalate as the deliberations continue. Soon the clarity of evidence and the very nature of a “fair trial” are called into question. With additional use of filmic flashbacks, this tension-packed rendition of a classic play exposes an age-old problem, the unreliability of perception. A poignant and timely production, Twelve Angry Jurors calls into question the prejudice and personal beliefs of the jurors and audiences alike.
