GENDERED VIOLENCE ON CAMPUS: RECOGNITION AND REFORM

This symposium discusses some of the most recent research on the victimization of women, members of the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized groups on the college campus. Special attention will be devoted to hate and bias crimes against LGBTQ students and to the ways in which these harms can be prevented. Keynote speaker: Dr. Walter S. DeKeseredy, Anna Deane Carlson Endowed Chair of Social Sciences and director of the Research Center on Violence, and Professor of Sociology at West Virginia University.
