Dr. Chinyere Osuji is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rutgers-Camden. She is discussing her current book project comparing how US- and foreign-born African immigrant registered nurses and nursing students make sense of US race. Adopting a Critical Constructionist approach, she examines intersections of nativity, gender, and education in their social construction of ethnoracial racial and ethnic boundaries.
