
ACM has invited an accomplished guest speaker who has already obtained a bachelor’s in computer science and is pursuing a higher degree education in a specific field with cybersecurity. Students will benefit from listening to the experiences of the graduate speaker, which can be applied to their future plans and goals for finding a career within their computer science major.
Guest speaker Nirav Brahmbhatt is a Cybercorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) Scholar and a recent graduate from Drexel University. He is currently getting his MS in Cybersecurity with a concentration in Computer Science. Nirav is a full-time employee with the Department of Defense (DoD) US NAVY as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Nirav is currently a TA at Drexel, and is also a volunteer firefighter. Lastly, he serves as the lead for the Computer Committee for their web development. Nirav co-authors “Research Ontology Modelling of Industrial Control System Ethical Hacking”, which is published in ICCWS 2021 16th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security.
Additionally, those who participated in the sticker design contest are encouraged to attend the meeting. The winner will be announced, and will receive a GitHub gift card!
