Campus Activity: Leadership Series: Self Identity/Leadership Styles

December 3, 2019
12:45 pm-1:45 pm

The 4 C’s assist in creating an engaging connection for our student leaders ; Critical Thinking,
Communication, Collaboration & Creativity allows us to expand upon our foundational
developmental outcomes as an office; develop independent thought, self-expression, and self-
awareness, as well as define their personal leadership style.

In this workshop we will do a reflection activity for students to reflect on their own personal
leadership qualities and styles. As a group, we will review the following leadership styles
Authoritarian, Participative, and Delegative Leadership. (In the spring we will review Servant,
Transformational and Transactional) Through this discussion, students will learn the differences,
pro’s and cons of each leadership style so that they can be more intentional when working with
others and mindful of how they are leading.
