Raptor Jam will be a 72-hour hackathon where teams of students work to develop creative solutions to public problems and is the first of many events focused on interdisciplinary innovation that we hope to offer our campus.  Raptor Jam will begin with a kickoff at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17, where students will be given this year’s GovJam challenge and split up into teams to create their solution, and will conclude with an opportunity for students to “pitch” those projects from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM on Friday, November 19.  Between those activities, students will work together on their own time to develop their solutions; we will have BSB 420 open on Thursday afternoon so that students have a dedicated meeting space available to them.  More information can be found on our Engage page, and Carla Mandell will follow up with additional information as it is released by GovJam.
