The Boren Awards fund Scholarships (for undergrads) and Fellowships (for graduates) to for students study abroad for as few as 8 weeks to as long as 1 year & provide an opportunity for students to engage in cultural immersion and intensive language study as part of their program. Boren scholars and fellows can select from ~64 language, ~100 countries, and may be from a variety of academic backgrounds and interests.
On Friday, November 18th, the Office of Scholar Development & Fellowship Advising is hosting a virtual session as part of International Education Week where you will hear from past Boren Award recipients about applying for these awards, their experiences abroad and how these opportunities can benefit your long-term plans.
