Are you your family’s resident genealogist? Volunteer custodian of church records? Neighborhood historian? If you have an interest in maintaining and preserving history that doesn’t often show up in official historical narratives, join us for this special community archives workshop. Led by scholar and photographer Dr. Kevin Browne, participants will learn to use archivists’ tools to approach their personal and community histories.
Also join us later in the evening for Dr. Browne’s talk, drawn from his most recent book, High Mas: Carnival and the Poetics of Caribbean Culture.
