Campus Activity: This is Us Too, so Let’s Talk: Shedding Light on the Prevalence of Domestic and Sexual Violence in LGBTQIA+ Communities

“This is Us Too, So Let’s Talk” is part 2 of a two-part “community conversation” co-hosted with several local partners. The first event was a virtual discussion on the impact of domestic and sexual violence in LGBTQ+ communities, and among LGBTQ+ survivors. The second workshop will include a featured guest speaker (virtual) on the ways in which religion, spirituality, and faith intersect with LGBTQ+ experiences of interpersonal violence. The workshop will include an interactive group component in which participants will be invited to design services for LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
