Join the Honors College as we welcome Dr. Kate Cairns (Childhood Studies), Dr. Maria Serra (Student Health Services, Rutgers Food Pantry), Father Mark (St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Camden), and current student Omar Khasawneh (Biology & Global Studies, ’22) for a conversation about food insecurity in our community. Our panel of experts will unpack this topic from multiple perspectives, examining this issue from a community standpoint and sharing with our audience the very real data of the number of college students who face food insecurity nationally and right on our own campus.
