The RUC Green Thumbs will be hosting an event on Thursday, October 27th from 12:45 p.m. through 1:45 p.m. to help spread awareness about the development of an LNG (liquid methane) Transport Terminal in South Jersey and Pennsylvania. They hope to educate the student body about the harmful effects this project will have on Camden and its surrounding communities, and provide students with ways to advocate against the development of this Transport Terminal.
The event with feature Dr. Jovanna Rosen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Rutgers-Camden, and Noa Gordon-Guterman, a “Stop Fracked Gas Exports” organizer from Food & Water Watch.
