Join the Honors College for this month’s Discussion with the Director, where Dr. Westman will be speaking with Dr. Nicole Belolan. Dr. Belolan is the Public Historian in Residence at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities (MARCH) at Rutgers University-Camden. As part of her work, she often will lecture and lead workshops  about disability history, material culture, and museum practice. In this month’s event, Dr. Belolan will lead students in a discussion  about the objects like crutches and chairs people used in early American to live with and manage disability before the era of a formalized assistive technology industry.
