Join the Honors College, the Office of Scholar Development & Fellowship Advising, the Leadership Institute, and Department of Political Science as we welcome Daniel Stapelkamp. A Rutgers – Camden graduate (and current MPA student), Daniel has interned and worked in Washington DC in various roles, including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and most recently as a Legislative Aide for the United States Senate. Daniel was also a Foreign Policy Fellow and a Cybersecurity Fellow with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the world’s #1 ranked regional studies think tank. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Daniel worked for the U.S. Senate in the State of New Jersey, acting as the lead Senate staff member for Hurricane Sandy recovery in Central and Southern New Jersey.
On Tuesday, November 27th, Daniel will share his story & offer his advice on how to build your resume for a career in DC (or similar). As part of the event, Laura Collins (Office of Scholar Development) will also share information about opportunities available to students to help reach these goals. Lunch will be provided!
Event will take place during the Free Period (lunch begins at 12:30, event begins at 12:45pm) in classroom 110 of 319 Cooper Street (1st floor of the Honors College building).
