The Senator Walter Rand Institute (WRI) for Public Affairs at Rutgers University – Camden recently released a research report entitled, “Seeking Work in Southern New Jersey”, which explores the economic landscape in South Jersey and the City of Camden. The report identifies barriers and opportunities to finding and securing a job, and outlines challenges to connections between job seekers and employers in the region.
This event is being sponsored and hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey as part of their Good Morning South Jersey Series. Normally, registration for this event would cost $45, but we have secured up to 18 seats for Honors College students to attend the event without being charged.
The event occurs on January 19th, 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn, just down the road on the Camden Waterfront. Registration and Networking takes place from 8:30 a.m. through 9 a.m., and then breakfast and the program occur from 9:00 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. If you are certain that you’d be able to attend this event, please sign up via this link since seating is limited. We will then refer names to the Chamber so that you can easily check in to the event. (Registration for this event has closed)
