As the holidays approach and we think of family, friends, & loved ones, we are also reminded to think of those in need. The Rutgers Camden Honors College Alumni Association invites you to join us as we prepare donations for the Camden Cathedral Kitchen and Shoebox gifts, items of which will be donated to families in our home city of Camden. This is a wonderful opportunity both to give back & get to know the HC Alumni! Click here for more information!
Cathedral Kitchen Project: Help us reach our goal of preparing 325 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. These sandwiches will be handed out as take home meals for guests at the Cathedral Kitchen.
ShoeBox Gift drive: A small shoebox can have a big impact! We will be assembling and wrapping ShoeBox gifts and donating them to children in the area via a local charity.
As entrance to this event, the following items are requested – on the sign up sheet, please SPECIFY how much/what variety of an item you will bring:
- New toys:
- Lego sets
- superhero toys
- paw patrol
- doll/Barbies
- makeup
- board games
- Loaf of Bread; accepted varieties (white, wheat, other)
- Peanut Butter; accepted varieties (creamy, chunky, natural), suggested size 28 oz jar
- Jelly (accepted varieties (grape or strawberry), suggested size 18 oz
