The Salvation Army is looking for passionate and caring volunteers with excellent communication skills to serve as volunteer Holiday Assistance Interviewers and Greeters. Volunteer interviewers will meet with clients one on one, gather confidential information and enter information into a database. Volunteer Greeters will meet and greet families and take them to their interview. Greeters will keep a radio. Families that are interviewed will be invited back to The Salvation Army to receive Thanksgiving food assistance and Christmas toys. The Holiday assistance activities are spearheaded by Captain Allison Hinzman. Office help is also needed to check phone messages.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Fluent in Spanish/English a plus (Interviewers)
· Computer literate (Interviewers)
· Friendly, outgoing
· A good listener, communicator
