Most Honors students join us as first-year students and complete our four-year program:

Honors Courses

 Six Honors courses, including three specially-designed Honors seminars

Year One
Fall: Seminar I and Honors English 101  
Spring: Seminar II and Honors English 102  
Year Two
Fall: Honors Heritages/Civilizations
Spring: Seminar III
Experience Projects

An Experience Project requirement, either one commitment or two enhancements, chosen from about twenty options

Engagement Requirement

An Engagement requirement, completed each semester, involving community service and participation in campus events

Students admitted to the Honors College as rising sophomores, as transfer students, or by direct application create an individualized program in consultation with our advising staff.

In order to graduate as a member of the Honors College, students must complete all program requirements and achieve a final GPA of at least 3.0.
